I saw this on my twitter timeline long ago but I forgot about it. Yesterday, I saw it again on bloggers' Top Ten Tuesday lists. So... I immediately added it to my TBR. The cover and blurb are so convincing.

I'm all here for anything sea-related. I don't know if this is a mermaid/siren story but there's a witch apprentice solving the case and I'm really interested in witches and mermaid/siren stories so I hope that this is gonna be a treat to read.

I just recently discovered this in Goodreads and the blurb sounds really interesting because it's a GAME. Games are fun to read. And there's that added mystery of the missing sister. I have a soft spot for family relationships in books so that's a bonus reason why. Last, the beautiful cover (the reason why this book caught my attention). Also, I have no idea what the series' name is since I haven't searched this book outside GR yet.

WHY I'M WAITING
The summary sounds TOO INTERESTING for me + it's a retellng and I love those. At first I thought this was a Cinderella retelling but it's not. I have no idea what that folktale is all about though I've heard it before... just no clue what it is about. But this one really seems to be something I'll definitely read. It's kinda creepy (referring to the doll... and talking dolls creep me out) but it's my kind of YA anyway so there's that.

First thing that caught my attention was the clean yet artistic cover. I have a thing for covers and this one did just that. Of course, the reason I added this in my TBR was the summary. I can already sense the heavy angst and bittersweet romance (if ever there is) lying in here. It will be a long wait too but I hope it's worth it.

First, the cover is beautiful. And I'm a sucker for pretty covers. Second, it sounds promising. It's also a retelling in which I was wondering what story was retold. I found out it's Labyrinth. I was expecting this to be released in 2016... until I looked at the details and said it's 2017. But I definitely am excited for this one!

WHY I'M WAITING
I love retellings and Sara Saedi's Never Ever is a retelling of Peter Pan, one of my favorite stories. I haven't read the original story of Peter Pan but I know already the difference from the Disney animated movie. So... I just want to think of the movie and the fun things that happened. I also love Peter Pan and Wendy though I hope this one ends in a good way. Also, this is the author's debut novel so if you're up for retellings, give this a shot at reading.

Sadly, there's no cover yet. Anyway... I LOVE THE FIRST BOOK, THE WRATH AND THE DAWN, AND IT'S HONESTLY ONE OF MY FAVORITES INSTANTLY. Sorry for the caps lock but my love for that book can hardly be contained. Retelling is my favorite kind and though I have not yet read A Thousand and One Nights (but I did Google this once...for school...and when I got interested after reading book 1), the author has got me wanting to read it. If you haven't read The Wrath and the Dawn yet, I truly recommend it. I have not yet written my review for it but it's 5/5 stars from me. #WeNeedDiverseBooks

Why I'm Waiting
This is my first WoW since my hiatus due to college and loss of internet connection, for the comeback, I have Silver Shadows. If you've read the Vampire Academy series, this is the fifth book of the spin-off series: Bloodlines. The Fiery Heart left with somewhat a cliffhanger that waiting for July for eight months was just unbearable. Bloodlines is one of my favorite series and I can't tell you how much I love Sydney Sage as a heroine and Sydrian (the official ship/OTP name for Sydney and Adrian) is my OTP of OTPs (I'm sure you, too, got your own OTP of OTPs). Bloodlines not only deals with vampires, it's also a home for witches and alchemists and a journey of a girl who comes out of her shell. I feel like this book is filled with angst compared to the first four. I'm not giving away anything or fangirl a lot over this series because it might get spoiler to some who just started the series.

Why I'm Waiting

It sounds really interesting and from the synopsis, it's like she's writing a diary or an autobiography except it's a letter...to the dead. Also, there were a lot of authors fell in love with it? I feel like this is gonna be one of those emotional rides that you get for free along with tears while reading. Definitely excited for this.

Why I'm Waiting

I've fallen out of love with this series ever since the movie came out but I would be lying if I said I'm not looking forward for the final and last book in the series. I am, although I'm not as excited as I was before whenever a new book from TMI is released. I'm trying not to get my love for the series affected by what the movie did but the movie wasn't the only reason. I wasn't even bummed when the release date changed from March 27 (was that it?) to May 27. I still want to know who's gonna die and how things will end. And let's talk about the cover: I love and..dislike it. I love how Clary looks badass here (with her back and her red hair and she's holding that dagger) but Sebby/Jonathan in the back? Nah. The cover could've been 10x better if it was only Clary in it since CC said that there's an inside cover with all the other characters. Oh well.

Why I'm Waiting

I very much enjoyed the first book, Reboot, that's why I'm very eager to read the next one which is this, Rebel. I love Wren and Callum, together and as individual characters. I even added Reboot in my Top Ten Tuesday: Books That Will Make You Swoon. I just found out that this is actually a duology which I was honestly sad to hear because I was expecting this to be a trilogy. I don't know how things will wrap up in this book but I still think it's gonna be good. If you haven't read this (meaning the first book) yet then I'm definitely going to recommend it. Plus, the covers are actually pretty? Here's the cover of Reboot

Why I'm Waiting:

1. Lauren Oliver is one of my favorite authors and I love her writing.
2. The synopsis sounds good and something I would definitely read.
3. It has a pretty cover.

I admit, the cover was the first one that drew my attention into wanting to read this book. But then after I read the synopsis, I seemed to want it more. The Delirium Trilogy may ended quite lacking for me (honestly the ending of Requiem..) but I did love her Before I Fall book and I'm looking forward to this one very much. Got high hopes for this and I see that this one's a stand-alone..I think.

Some of you probably have read this already but I haven't yet and I did love Just One Day but I look forward to this one a lot since it's in Willem's POV. I haven't read any snippet of this one so I'm just relying on what the premise said and I want to be surprised, if ever, when I read this. Excited!

Why I'm Waiting:

I'm so excited for this!! Are you also looking forward to this one? The ending of Insurgent left a question mark and I'm very curious who's that person is at the very last scene in the last chapter. Also, the double POVs. I honestly don't know what to feel for this but I can tolerate with it. Whenever the author changes from one POV to two, it only means that something very bad will happy to either one. Hmm. Anyway, less than a month to go and Allegiant will be in our hands!! Oh and is anyone curious about the cover? Well, I am. I mean, what is that symbol? Or did I just miss something?

Why I'm Waiting: 

I've been waiting for this book since The Indigo Spell (Bloodlines, #3) came out last February this year and I couldn't handle my excitement! I love this series so much and there's no hiding that I ship SYDRIAN (Sydney & Adrian) hard and I just admire Sydney Sage as a character and there's no stopping me from loving Adrian Ivashkov too. I can't wait for November and get a hold on this book because I feel like I'm having a Sydrian withdrawal lately. And I can't wait for them to grow as characters and we get to feel the angst. I should read this slowly since Richelle Mead's been saying that the ending of this will likely leave everyone in anguish.
