My Thoughts:
This one’s my least favorite of the three. If Rules of Attraction had given me a hard time liking Carlos, this book has given me a harder time liking Nikki. But the epilogue was good. It’s like a good closure to this trilogy.
I had to give Simone Elkeles props for the twist though. I feel sad for Luis but at least he still has a family who loves him no matter what. I’d keep this review short because I don’t have much anything to say. It was okay but I’m just having a hard time liking the lead female character. It wasn’t like with Brittany and Kiara.
But Carlos though, oh his proposal to Kiara was just sweet! I have a thing for male characters and their tears. Plus Alex/Brit wedding and baby Paco awww :’) His “Weese" is so cute! Also the scene with Carlos and Alex discovering Luis and his cheesy love poem had me cracking. Such a Fuentes moment.
