BACK TO BLOGGING?

I guess? There's a question mark there at the title so not sure just yet but I'm trying to fit in the reviewing and book blogging in my college life. As much as I want to share my thoughts on books, I'm finding a hard time to squeeze blogging through my schedule. I can still use the internet but most of the time, via-mobile. I can't blog via-mobile. It's impossible for me to do that and it would require more time than regular blogging through my laptop.

So here I am, maybe back..maybe not. BUT I do plan on giving decent reviews on the following books:

• This Girl (Slammed, #3) by Colleen Hoover
• Dearest Clementine (Dearest, #1) by Lex Martin
• Price of a Kiss (Forbidden Men, #1) by Linda Kage
• To Professor, With Love (Forbidden Men, #2) by Linda Kage

I've read a lot while I was away but those are my recent reads and so far, my favorites. I'm branching from the Young Adult world to the New Adult world. I like to explore and somehow, I enjoy reading NA books. So for now, my reads will consist a ton of NA books. 

BRANCHING OUT~ And hopefully, our internet connection will be fixed because I need my free wi-fi..also to easily blog and surf.

REVIEWING:

I decided to go back into the MY THOUGHTS only kind of reviewing. I still like to go on discussion on books but sometimes, my words in THOUGHTS and PLOT seemed to conflict with each other and CONCLUSION is like back to square one, which is THOUGHTS.

Changes: New Way Of Reviewing

I don't have a pattern when reviewing. I review a book whenever the moment strikes in and what I put there are my thoughts and mine alone. Lately, I made a pattern to sort my thoughts out:

• Overview
• Thoughts
• Conclusion

Now, I'm changing things. It'll be:

• Thoughts
• Plot
• Characters
• Conclusion (in this part, I would include here whether I'd recommend the book or not plus what I think about the writing)

This way, it'll be easier and a lot more clean and organized. Change starts now.

BEING INACTIVE

I've been very inactive lately and it may look like I've abandoned this blog but no, I'm not doing that and I don't think I ever will. This is like my safe haven for my reading experiences.

It all started when typhoon Haiyan made its damage in our place and electricity was out for days which sucks so bad because it's cold, dark and boring. Then a few days later the power's back but our internet connection got some problems because Haiyan did unthinkable things including the internet connection's signal tower in our place needed some fixing.

I've read some books while I was away and I'm still on my way of reviewing them all. I got Prodigy done already. I still have these to go:

• Wonder by R.J. Palacio
• Coraline by Neil Gaiman
• Shadow and Bone (The Grisha Trilogy, #1) by Leigh Bardugo

• The Fiery Heart (Bloodlines, #4) by Richelle Mead

and I'm currently reading World After (Penryn & the End of Days, #2) by Susan Ee so once I'm through with this book, I'm gonna post the reviews I have for the rest of the books in the list. I already got them sorted in my drafts so this'll be quick.

Oh and has anyone watched Catching Fire? :D The movie was just so good and close to the book. The people in the cinema (in our place) were clapping during the end (last scene in the arena). Well done. Alright, that's it for now. Have a nice day, lovelies!

Picking up another book

I feel like putting down Lola and the Boy Next Door for a while and start reading this. I haven't read any review regarding this book but the blurb is really interesting. I also want to at least read some of the books that have been sitting on my shelf for a while now and this one is no exception. I'd definitely start this right now. Glad I only have one exam tomorrow.

New Books!

So yesterday, I went to the bookstore (it's been a long time) and bought some lovely books. I was awed at the new display of books. A ton of good ones that I've heard from Goodreads that are definitely worth the read. 

A certain book caught my eye the moment I stepped in and it was Siege and Storm by Leigh Bardugo, second book of The Grisha Trilogy. Now, I haven't even read the first book, Shadow and Bone, but I've been wanting to continue reading it since forever. I started Shadow and Bone via-ebook but then I decided to just buy the book. I ordered and then I canceled it because it was taking too long and I had another book in mind. When I saw book two on the YA shelf display, I had my hopes of seeing book one on display too. So I went to the second floor of the bookstore, scanned every shelf in the YA section then BAM! Found it. And it was the last copy on display. I HAD TO GRAB AND BUY IT.

Such a pretty cover and I love feeling the embossed title against the palm of my hands. Gonna start this once I finish all the books in my September haul! Either I'll read it this month or add it in my October haul. We'll see.

Here are the rest: White Cat by Holly Black, first book in The Curse Workers series  (or is it a series or trilogy?). This is my first Holly Black book and I believe this is a new cover? Because I'm pretty sure that this was the original cover.

Lastly, I bought the third and fourth book of the Lux Series, Opal and Origin, by Jennifer L. Armentrout. I've read these two already. I read Opal via-ebook and then I read Origin courtesy of my friend's copy. I wanted the two books to be displayed on my shelf so I bought them and I'd take my time rereading Origin because of all the Daemon/Katy moments.

I'm kinda bothered with the change of cover..just the color. It's lighter

compared to the first three books.

Anyway, I'm supposed to be reading The Immortal Rules, Blood of Eden book one, by Julie Kagawa but then I have it as an e-book. I saw it displayed in the bookstore too WITH a paperback version. But then I don't like the paperback's cover. I prefer the hardcover but it's pretty pricey and The Eternity Cure was there too. I need to save up for that. I'll just start this with the e-book. Seriously, these days my eyes hurt from graphic designing and looking at the monitor's light. One of the reasons why I haven't started that book yet.
